Michelle's spaceFebruary 22 Diary~New YearDear Diary, From 16th February to 25th February was my favourit holiday----the Chinese New Year. I went to Shang Hai during the holiday. Shang Hai is a famous city.There are also many great buildings. During the holiday, I was very busy since I had many Chinese traditional things to do. Although I was extremely busy during the holiday, I enjoyed it as I got much money. When I said, “ Kung Ha Fu Chow”to the elder member of a family , they would give me red packet. But, I was a bit sad .Since I ate many delicious Chinese snacks, I am fat now. The snacks were not only delicious but also very special. In my grandmother’s home had many red and gold New Year decorations. They were rather pretty.I particularly liked the couplets. They were very unusual. All in all, I had a cold but joyful New Year holiday and it was also an unforgetable New Year. I love this uncommon festival.
January 19 My Christmas HolidayFrom 24th December to 2nd January, it is the Christmas Holiday. Unfortunately, we’ll have an important test after the Christmas holiday. So I have planned a revision timetable for myself. I’ll also have time to enjoy my Christmas Holiday.
On Christmas Eve and Christmas day, I will go out to celebrate with my friends. On Christmas Eva, I will go to Tune Mun Town plaza to see the brilliant illuminations. I think that I will take many photos on that day.
On the next day – the Christmas day, I will play for the whole day. First, I will a Christmas party in my friend’s home. I think that I will have a spectacular afternoon. This party is gathering of my friends form primary school. So I am looking forward to it. Than, I will go to Time Square at night and play in there till 12 o’clock mid-night and count down to the New Year.
When the happy Christmas ends, I must start my revision. I will work very hard.
I think that this Christmas holiday is very unusual because I have both joyful time and tough time. December 22 Castle PeakOn 2nd December,i had an unforgettable hiking experience.That day,i felt that it was really tough but i enjoyed it.
On that day's morning,my friend and i went to the supermarket to buy two bottles of water and then we went to school.when we arrived at school.wewnt to the covered playground to take our number card.
After a while,we took photos with our school's proncipal then we started to hike.
Initially,i felt extremely exhausted but i still held on to it.But the middle section was easier than the first .
When i arrived at the peak,i felt that i was very successful.At the peak, it was very breezy and the air was very fresh.After we all arrived at the peak.we took a big photo together.
Last, we finished the hiking.All of our legs were jaring but we were still joyful.
Anyway,i liked this traditional activity of our school－Climbing the Castle Peak. December 07 The New Dramatic English TeacherMiss Kate went back to England last month, but the Dramatic English did not stop. Yesterday, we had this lesson again. Our new teacher was a male teacher, called Michael. When we first met him, we all felt very surprised at his stature. After a while, he asked our names and told us about his things. Then, Michael asked us to play a game. Although the game was very common and a bit boring, it taught us how to make a presentation. Some of my classmates made presentations on every interesting things.
All in all, I like the lesson and my new teacher, and I am looking forward to the next lesson. December 04 English Speaking DayOur school's English Speaking Day lasted for three days. On the second day. I played many games and joined a Spelling Competition. Do you want to know more about it? On the second day, all form two students went to the school hall and played games about Halloween. Then, I played many games with my classmates. We played many funny games, such as Pumpkin+Say a poem, Catch me if you can+Word Search and Dressed up. But, my favourite game was 'catch me if you can+Wors Search'. It was because this game was exciting and entertaining. All form two students played very happily.
After the lunch, I had a spelling competition. I was very nervous when i sat on the stage. Fortunately, I could speak the words and our class won the competition. I was very happy.
After that, all form two students watched the film about Halloween. The film was funny but too long.
All in all, I liked the English Speaking Day very much. I could learn many things about English.
